The people associated with your organization will be the individuals selling the tickets.
Recently we had a show for the East Los Angeles College Athletic Department. The
department has approximately 350 athletes.
Each athlete was required to sell two tickets at $10 a ticket. After the operating cost of the show, the department was left with a profit of $6,960. |
3. Decide the location.
East Los Angeles College held their show in their men's gymnasium which holds 1100 people.
By having the show on your premises, there is no room charge.
However, if you don't have a location, a room can be made available at an
additional cost. |
4. Decide the type of comedy you want at the show.

5. Decide your show needs and costs.
A basic comedy package cost $400 and includes:
Travel costs for shows outside of LA County, Orange County, and the Inland
Empire are not included in the base package and will be added as an additional
expense.

6. Decide how many local Comedians†
you wish to have perform.
It is an additional $75 for each comedian. 3 comedians would be an
additional $225, 4
comedians would be an additional $300, and so on.
This cost is added to the base price of $400.
Extras:
Pizza and punch for 100 people - $200 ($2.00 for each additional person)
Printed tickets - $100
Internet payment through Paypal - 10¢ for each $1.00
Live Band - $750
Professional comedian‡ - Market price

* - included in your basic package if needed. Some organizations already have
a stage, lighting, and PA system. If you do not have a location for the show, a
venue can be provided at an additional cost.
† - Comedians are paid based on experience and status. These comedians may or may not be professional comedians, but will meet all of your expectations.
‡ - The Comedy Train has no legal rights to a professional comedian and the Comedy Train must booked the comedian through the comedian's management. There is no guarantee on which professional comedian will be available, but every attempt will be made to meet your
request. This is a separate cost NOT included in the base comedian price.
